Area Information
Local Weather: Our historical highs tend to occur in July and August where we can see the low to mid 80’s during the day. The comfortable high 70’s are more typical. The overnight lows can go into the 40’s so sweaters and jackets are the norm. Skiing weather here is fantastic with average highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s and lows in the high teens during December and January.

Horseback Riding: Love a good horseback ride? With options available from wilderness trails to equestrian opportunities, North Lake Tahoe is a meritable setting for your riding adventures.
Fishing: This area is a fisherman’s heaven, with three types of trout (Brown, Rainbow and Mackinaw) and Kokanee Salmon. There are streams, rivers, and lakes.

Squaw Valley Public Service District: Consists of 15 square miles in Olympic Valley overseeing water, wastewater, solid waste, bike trail snow removal, fire protection and emergency medical services.
Town of Truckee: Information for visitors and residents of Truckee.
Tahoe City Public Utility District: Information on Tahoe City’s sewers, water, parks and recreation.
North Tahoe Public Utility District: Water/sewer services for Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Brockway Vista, Carnelian Bay, Cedar Flat and Agate Bay. North Tahoe Public Utilities District also oversees parks and recreation in the area.
